Our pastor – Stoyan Petkov
Pastor Stoyan Dimov Petkov was born on 19.01.1970 in Dobrich town. He graduated from a high school specializing in mechanics. He grew up as s an atheist, passionate about folklore singing, and dreamed of a career as a professional folklore singer. After his military service, he went through a period of uncertainty during which he discovers God and the faith. On 12.09.1992 he was baptized and became a member of the Seventh-day Adventist church in Dobrich. He started a family in 1995 and has two daughters. On 01.12.1995 Stoyan became a preacher in Mezdra town. After that, he worked as a pastor in Razgrad, Sevlievo, Yambol, Ruse. Since September 2015 he works as a pastor in “Sofia-Zapad” church. In 2011 he graduated from the Advent theological college “Stefan Kostadinov” in Sofia. In 2017 he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in theology from “St.St. Kiril and Metodii” university in Veliko Tarnovo.
Pastor Stoyan is thankful for his family. He loves to travel. He takes interest in history. One of his greatest pleasures is to spend time with friends from the church and to share the beauty of Jesus with those who want to get to know him.
